Headquartered in Washington D.C., Simon has been spotted in publications such as Remix, URB, BPM, Mixer, Bigshot, Parade, K48, Music Monthly, Fashion Wire Daily, Skrufff, Ministry of Sound Radio and The Village Voice. He has performed from, U.K., Peru & throughout North America, at some of their most famous venues and festivals.
Drawing a never ending inspiration from House, Techno, Italo and New Wave, Simon became noted as one of the pioneers of Electroclash. In 2002, his 'Sleaze' events in Washington, which focused on the movement, exploded with national notoriety and set the pace for a number of amazing opportunities.
In 2003 he caught the ear of legendary DJ, Scott Henry, and became a resident at one of America's most legendary weekly events, Buzz. Buzz was named best club night in America by URB magazine 10 Years in a row. Simon also hosted 'Redux', on XM Radio's 'The Move' (nominated for Dance Star awards in 2004 & 2005). Every week for over 5 years, nearly 350,000 people would tune in to hear their futuristic retro funk.
Electroclash was declared by The Guardian one of the two most significant upheavals in recent dance music history, and while the "term" for the movement has faded, the musical influences it brought have not. It has spread across everything you hear today under an assortment of new aliases.
Simon's style remains much the same, unpredictable, fusing genre boundaries in order to deliver fans his personal passion, great music. His studio work and impeccable sets are always packed with fresh thoughts for forward thinkers and future classics.
